" Development Communication for me is not just about taking pictures , communicating , writing journals and articles and other stuff related to media and development , but its all about survival. We are immersed to a sitio in Talakag, Bukidnon. I , We survived the deathly road , muddy pathways , slippery rocks on a river and etc. I really thought we went to hell. But when we arrived at our immersed place , everything was paid off , the hell we thought is the heaven we dreamed of. Beautiful rolling hills , foggy mountains , enchanted waterfalls , amazing families and of course , astonishing devcom-mates. I would like to owe my biggest thanks to my groupmates , Jericho , Genevieve and Marian. And also to our foster mother , Nanay Mels , for being with us , taking care and comforting us. We will buy you a tablet , a cellphone and a car as you wish. Hahaha. A big thanks also to the Food , Security and Documentary Committee , to Ma'am Shiella , Touch Foundation and to the staff. Thank you for changing our lives , you gave us a new perspective and definition of life , positive minds , new friendships , and a life changing experience. It will be forever in our minds and in our hearts. Til’ next time!" - Keizer Casio, 2013.
I miss being a devcom student. The fun, the people, the university, everything. See you soon guys!
